Yesterday and Today

Grounding Stone Farm was formerly known as Russell's Blueberry Farm, Artist, Kathleen Jacobs and New Hampshire native, David Miller purchased the blueberry farm in 2017 with the intent to keep Peter Russell's organic blueberry farm and legacy alive.  Peter's blueberry fields were first planted in 1986 and the acreage and crop diversity has been growing ever since. Today the farm consists of blueberries and raspberries. The farm began to transition to organic production in 2000 and achieved Certified Organic status in 2003.

Visitors to the farm can  "Pick Your Own" or if you are in a hurry you can purchase daily "already picked" blueberries at our farm stand.

Pick Your Own - Organic Blueberry Farm

  • Pick Your Own Blueberry Farm - Open Mid July through August.
  • Blueberries, an antioxidant superfood, are packed with antioxidants and phytoflavinoids.
  • They are high in potassium, a good source of vitamin K, vitamin C, fiber, manganese and valued for high levels of anthocyanins.
  • Blueberries are an anti-inflamatory that will  lower your risk of heart disease and cancer, making them the top food choice of doctors and nutritionists.

Artist Workshops, Painting Trips and Artist Retreats

In additon to growing organic blueberries, artist Kathleen Jacobs is running artist painting trips to Ireland and Italy, painting workshops throughout New England and weekend artist retreats are planned for the Spring and Summer seasons of 2019 at Grounding Stone Farm.  More information about the retreat and workshop schedule at the farm will be announced soon!  Don't worry we'll schedule some workshops too during the blueberry season...you won't go home without them!
